This is UST Student Services Division.

We would like to inform you that the UST 2025 Global Mentoring Conference is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Starting with the opening session, there will be around 80 special lectures covering various academic fields, delivered by professionals currently active in academia, research, and industry worldwide. 

Through the mentoring application and selection process, participants will have the opportunity to receive 1:1 mentoring from special lecture speakers, and outstanding mentees will be given the chance to attend CES 2026.

We strongly encourage all UST students to actively participate in the various lectures.

In addition, the opening session will minimize subject-specific content compared to the special lectures, focusing instead on global career development . 

This makes it accessible to everyone, regardless of their major.

1. Opening session(webinar)

- Contents: Introduction to global career development

2. Invited talks(webinar, July 2~Aug 29)

- Content: Career development and introduction of research fields 

- Speakers: Top researchers in each field from world-renowned universities, research institutes, and global companies

3. Online Mentoring  

- Mentoring period: July 2~Sep 14

- Process

a) After attending a special lecture, submit a mentoring application form (Student → UST) (Refer to the attached form)

b) UST collects, forwards, and arranges the mentoring applications (UST → Mentor)

c) Conduct online mentoring (Mentor ↔ Student)

d) Submit a mentoring result report (Student → UST)

- Outstanding mentees will be given the chance to attend CES 2026. Details regarding the selection of outstanding mentees will be announced later.

All sessions of the Global Mentoring Conference will be conducted in English.
